Is the track multi-level?
Yes! Kokomo Joe’s features a professionally designed multi-level track with elevated sections, ramps, sweeping turns, and elevation changes.
How long is the track?
The track is approximately 1,112 feet (339 meters) long.
How many racers can compete at one time?
Up to 16
Are the go-karts indoors?
Yes
Are there weight limits?
Our Go Karts have a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs.
Are the go-karts electric?
Yes, They are High Performance Electric Karts.
How fast do the karts go?
Our high-performance electric karts can reach speeds of up to approximately 40 mph during Pro racing sessions. Speed settings may vary depending on race format and driver age.
Can my child ride as a passenger?
No, all of our karts are single rider karts.
For Racers
Do I need a driver’s license?
No, but you must meet the age and height requirements.
What is the age & height requirements to race?
Junior racers- 7 years old + 48 Inches
Adult racers- 14 years old + 54 inches
Are there different race options for different ages?
Guests will sign up for a Semi Pro or Pro Race. Pro races are for guests 14 and older. Semi pro will be more family style for ages 7 and up.
Are races separated by age or skill level?
Certain race formats may be separated by age or experience level to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Is racing safe for first-time drivers?
No experience is necessary. Our team will explain kart operation, safety procedures, and racing etiquette before your race. Our karts are designed for drivers of all skill levels.
Is there a safety briefing before racing?
Yes. Every racer must attend a mandatory safety briefing before entering the track.
Are helmets provided?
Yes. If you would like you can bring your own helmet, but it must be DOT certified.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Avoid loose items that could interfere with racing. Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied.
How long is a race?
7 minutes
How many laps are included in a race?
Subjective based on the driver and style of race
Do I need a reservation?
No, but reservations are recommended during weekends, holidays, and peak periods. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
How early should I arrive before my race?
We recommend arriving at least 15-20 minutes before your scheduled race time.
How many races can I purchase at once?
You can purchase as many races as you’d like during your visit.
Can spectators watch the races?
Yes. Friends and family are welcome to watch from designated viewing areas.
What timing system is used?
We utilize professional motorsports timing technology powered through Apex Timing integration.
Are lap times recorded?
Yes. Every race is electronically timed.
How do I view my lap times and rankings?
Your results will be available immediately after your race through our timing system and racer portal.
Will groups and parties be available?
Yes. Once our track opens, we will offer group packages and birthday party packages.
